deal for you! You could use your talent to perform with an entertaining Sweet Adeline chorus headquartered in Ruston, LA.
Our members sing four-part a cappella music in the barbershop style. We perform traditional old-fashioned barbershop, rock-n-roll,
classics, and country music in a variety of venues.
Piney Hills Harmony Chorus is a member of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization of women singers committed
to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance. Along with improved vocal skills
and the joy of song, you will receive the gift of wonderful relationships and connections with others in what will become
lifelong friendships. The organization will open a world of opportunities, providing an international network of talented,
intelligent women who care about making a difference. The encouragement of others and the opportunities to serve will help
build your self-esteem, confidence, and courage to tackle tasks that you never thought you could!
If you love to sing, come join us! We rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings in the fellowship hall of the Presbyterian
Church of Ruston. (For locals, it's the pretty church on Bonner Street across from Auto Zone.) Our rehearsal time on Thursday
is from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Our membership includes singers from Jamestown, Calhoun, Homer, Bernice, Jonesboro, Shreveport, Monroe,
West Monroe, and Ruston, LA.
